The 4KHQ videos or above would always be enormous as they are meant for studio exports, however, depending upon your recording resoluation, the content is being preserved. However, you can choose more lower quality exports like Web, 1080p etc.

I had a 20min clip, exported at 1080p 30fps which exported as a 90gb file.
After running it through media encoder I was able to bring it down to 1.2gb

Would you mind please sending the project file? On the toolbar of the project file, you would find the “feedback” spech bubble button, make sure the “send project file” is on and in the description just describe the issue. Would take a close look into the file and would fix it
